Job summary

Manpowergroup Services India is seeking an experienced Engineer – Sourcing (SCM) to join its Supply Chain team in Bangalore. The role focuses on vendor development, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization, with SAP MM proficiency as a key requirement.

The candidate will manage RFQs, vendor onboarding, supplier evaluation, and ensure timely delivery while monitoring cost and quality metrics across BOM and Non-BOM parts.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of sourcing/procurement experience in the Machine Tool or Manufacturing industry.
• Hands‑on SAP MM experience is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new vendors for BOM and Non-BOM parts.
• Manage RFQs, vendor onboarding, and supplier evaluation.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
• Perform cost optimization and risk mitigation activities.
• Maintain purchase planning parameters in SAP.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage logistics contracts and job work agreements.
• Track supplier quality, delivery performance, and cost metrics.
• Prepare MIS reports on sourcing, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
