Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a large multinational in the consumer durables sector to hire a Procurement Head (Manufacturing) for South India. You will lead strategic sourcing across mechanical, electrical, electronics and raw material categories, and drive cost optimisation through negotiations, value engineering and localisation strategies.

You will manage supplier relationships, governance and SAP-based processes, collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and finance, and ensure supply

Qualifications

• 18-22 years of experience in procurement leadership roles within multinational environments
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier development, and contract negotiation
• Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Excel
• Proven track record in cost reduction, localisation, and supply risk management
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities
• Likely to have an engineering degree or relevant technical qualification
