Job summary

ZF Group India is seeking a Head of SCM & Customer Logistics to lead end-to-end supply chain and customer logistics, driving service levels, inventory optimization and cost efficiency. You will oversee demand planning, procurement, warehousing, transportation, order fulfilment and distribution, aligning with business growth and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, or Operations.
• Minimum 9+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain and customer logistics operations.
• Experience in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain and customer logistics strategies aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
• Drive demand planning, S&OP, inventory optimization and asset utilization to maintain high service levels.
• Manage strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier performance and commercial negotiations.
• Oversee warehousing, distribution and logistics operations for efficiency and safety.
• Lead customer order management and fulfillment to improve on-time delivery and fill rates.
• Optimize transportation, freight, carrier and 3PL management for service and cost efficiency.
• Develop and implement risk management, compliance and business continuity strategies.
• Drive financial performance through KPI management, productivity improvements and data-driven decisions.
• Build and lead high-performing teams across Sales, Operations, Procurement and Finance.

About the team:

The Head of SCM & Customer Logistics is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain and customer logistics operations to ensure superior customer service, operational excellence, inventory optimization, and cost efficiency. The role oversees demand planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, order fulfillment, customer logistics, and distribution while ensuring alignment with business growth objectives and customer expectations.
