Job summary

Jagan Compost & Warehouse Pvt Ltd in Dhaulpur, Rajasthan, is setting up an integrated button-m mushroom farm and seeks a Head Store Keeper to manage the Central Store and ERP stock across raw materials, packing, spares, consumables, tools and PPE. You will lead two assistants and a helper, ensuring accurate cycles, GRNs, and timely indents.

The role requires 5+ years in stores, ERP expertise (Tally/SAP/Busy/Marg), and fluency in Hindi with readable English descriptions.

Qualifications

• Graduate (B.Com / B.Sc / BA) or diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years in stores of a factory, cold storage, food or agro-processing plant, dairy, sugar mill or large contractor.
• At least 2 years as store in-charge, not assistant.
• Has run stores on an ERP such as Tally ERP, SAP B1, Busy, Marg or custom.
• Knows GRN, indent, issue, min/max, bin cards, FIFO, cycle counting, returnable challans and weighbridge reconciliation.
• Basic identification of electrical, plumbing and mechanical items; Excel.
• Honest, able to say no politely to a director; references checked with two previous employers.
• Physically active; fluent in Hindi and able to read English item descriptions.
• Age 28-45; based in Dholpur; 6-day week.
• Preferred: 8+ years, diploma in materials or stores management, has set up a store from zero.
• Preferred: from Rajasthan or the Agra-Gwalior-Mathura belt; two-wheeler licence.
• Minimum service of 24 months under a written agreement; 3 months probation.

Responsibilities

• Check every delivery against the purchase order and post the GRN in the ERP the same day.
• Issue material only against an approved indent and record it in the ERP before it leaves.
• Keep bin card, ERP and physical stock in agreement through weekly cycle counts and monthly and annual counts.
• Set min/max stock levels with the Plant Manager and Farm Manager and chase indents to delivery.
• Track daily stock and consumption of straw, manure, gypsum, gobar and coir pith at each yard and reconcile monthly.
• Log, send out, chase and test repairable items through the Repair Register.
• Control returnable tools and items through the tool register.
• Keep the stores organised and safe, with chemicals segregated and labelled and FIFO followed.
• Send a weekly one-page stock report to the Farm Manager every Monday.
• Lead two assistant store keepers and one helper.

Jagan Compost & Warehouse Pvt Ltd is setting up an integrated button-mushroom farm with 51 growing rooms at Dholpur, Rajasthan. The Head Store Keeper will run the Central Store and all stock points on the company ERP, covering raw materials, packing material, engineering spares, consumables, tools and PPE, and will lead two assistants. Joining is required at the earliest, by 1 December 2026 at the latest. Accommodation provided by the company.
