Strategic Procurement Leadership:Developing and implementing long-term sourcing strategies for components like solar panels, inverters, wind turbines, transformers, and cables.
Vendor Management:Building and maintaining strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers, including those in China and Southeast Asia. This involves contract negotiation, performance tracking, and vendor development.
Logistics & Inventory Management:Overseeing multi-location warehousing, transportation, and logistics to ensure zero supply bottlenecks and accurate inventory management for various project sites.
Project Coordination:Collaborating with engineering, quality, and project execution teams to align supply chain operations with construction schedules and project milestones.
Cost Efficiency & Risk Mitigation:Analyzing market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and implementing robust risk management frameworks to cover supply, logistics, and geopolitical risks.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:Ensuring all procurement and supply chain activities adhere to regulatory requirements (e.g., MNRE/DCR compliance in India) and quality standards.
Digital Transformation:Deploying and utilizing advanced technologies and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) to enhance supply chain efficiency and decision-making.
Team Leadership:Leading and managing a team of SCM professionals, providing mentorship and driving strategic initiatives across the department.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Renewable Energy) is often mandatory, with an MBA in Operations or Supply Chain management being an added advantage.
