Job summary

Samvith Technologies is seeking a production leadership role focused on ensuring timely manufacture and delivery of machines/components while meeting customer specs and budget. The role emphasizes safety, standardization, and continuous improvement across the plant.

You will drive planning, optimize resources, manage budgets, and coach team members to peak performance, aiming for first-time-right outcomes and sustained operational excellence.

• Effective Planning & prioritization of production activities in line with customer requirements.
• Conceptualizing and implementing innovative methods to optimize resource and capacity utilization thereby increasing efficiency.
• Alignment & standardization of processes and ensure all quality guidelines are strictly adhered.
• Ensuring implementation and enforcement of quality control measures to meet quality objectives.
• Root cause analysis of problems and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Preparing, managing & controlling functional budgets.
• Contributing to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team.
• Leading initiatives toward operational excellence and maintaining a safe workplace.

Job description

Purpose of Role

• Incumbent will be responsible for consistency in timely production and delivery of machines/components in order to achieve Sales target of the plant, within budgeted costs in line with Customer specification.
• Maintaining & improving production related activities/processes across the plant with complete adherence to safety norms and creating a cohesive work environment for employees.
• Responsible for On time Subassembly, Machine Assembly, Component Trials & Commissioning completion ensuring RFT.

Roles & Responsibility :

• Effective Planning & prioritization of production activities in line with the customers requirements.
• Conceptualizing and implementing innovative methods/ measures/ processes/ policies to optimize resource and capacity utilization thereby increasing efficiency.
• Alignment & standardization of processes and ensure all quality guidelines (SOPs) are strictly adhered.
• Ensuring implementation and enforcement of quality control measures to meet quality objectives.
• Ensures root cause analysis of the problems encountered & implementation of corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
• Preparing, managing & controlling functional budgets.
• Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management Team.
• Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence.
• Ensures periodic dialogue and communication at all levels of employees.
• Building a cohesive work environment and relationship at workplace.
• Ensures maintenance of healthy and safe working environment across Plant and compliance to safety norms, rules and regulations.
• Reviews performance of his direct repartees periodically and provides inputs for improvement. Plays the role of a coach/ mentor for developing people.
• Ensures effective implementation of performance management system and fair & transparent assessment of Employees Performance.
• Helping Team Members to reach peak performance by Assessing & enhancing their skills, developing new skills.
• Improving discipline at the workplace.
• Responsible for developing and review relevant MIS for the production function, for providing updates to the Top Management

• On time delivery of Machines to Customer and On time Manufacturing of Parts.
• % reduction in DPM, Customer Complaints & increase PAP
• Lead Time Reduction of Machine Building
• Hazard free workplace (No. of accident/incident/near miss)
• Maintaining the 5S at Shop Floor
