MAHLE in India seeks a seasoned process engineering leader to design, optimize, and scale manufacturing processes across plants. You will drive layout optimization, safety, and digitization while reducing costs and improving quality.

The role requires heading engineering teams, managing CAPEX for new equipment, and coordinating with customers and internal teams on multiple projects. Extensive experience in auto components and greenfield projects is essential.

Qualificações

• 20-25 years of experience in auto components industry.
• 7-9 years heading engineering or equivalent leadership role.
• Experience in Aluminum GDC Casting, CNC Machining, NDT, surface coating and assembly processes.
• New project management and greenfield project management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead process design and optimization of flows, PFMEA, and mass/energy balance.
• Drive continuous improvement through OEE, cycle time reduction, and cost per unit.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across plants (IATF, ISO 9001, etc.).
• Lead a team of ~15 in CAPEX planning for new equipment and process upgrades, and coordinate with stakeholders.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Lead the process engineering team to design, optimize, and scale manufacturing processes. Responsible for optimise layout , flow ,process safety, cost reduction, quality improvement, Digitization and technology implementation across plants.

Role & Responsibilities:

To Ensure the below

A. Process Design & Optimization

• Develop and validate process flows, PFDs, PFMEA for new products/plants Conduct mass/energy balance, yield analysis, bottleneck studies

B. Continuous Improvement

• Drive OEE, cycle time reduction, waste reduction, cost per unit Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen projects Troubleshoot process deviations and ensure root cause closure

C. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure process safety Comply with IATF, EHS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001,VDA,45001 etc Work with regulatory for approvals and audits, Factory layout etc

D. Team & Project Management

• Lead team of ~15 process CAPEX planning for new equipment/process upgrades, Optimise Investment MSP Inputs and support to Controlling for new project Customer coordination and Internal Team coordination

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 20 -25 years of Experience in Auto component Industry and 7-9 years Heading Engineering
• Specifically Aluminum GDC Casting, CNC Machining , NDT, Surface coating & Assembly process Experience
• New Project Management, Green field project mangement experience
