Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking a Head – Planning at its Sri City, Andhra Pradesh location. The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of experience in Cryogenic/Pressure Vessels or related capital goods sectors, with strong SAP, MS Project and Primavera skills, and deep expertise in production planning, scheduling, forecasting, estimation and budgeting.

The role involves leading budgeting, scheduling, interfacing with stakeholders, client coordination for approvals, and ensuring project delivery

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech (Mech.) with 20+ years in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers or capital goods manufacturing.
• Proficient in MS Project and Primavera.
• Strong SAP knowledge and production planning expertise.

Responsibilities

• Review sale orders; budgeting, planning and scheduling of job orders in SAP.
• Organize kick-off and interface meetings with internal stakeholders to escalate issues.
• Coordinate with clients for approval of QAP, process sheets and drawings.
• Monitor and direct project scope to meet budget and time targets.
• Handle project handover and closure activities with customers.
• Coordinate with clients on project progress and scheduling; resolve technical issues.
• Communicate project requirements to all parties to meet objectives.
• Analyze delays in procurement of critical items and long-lead materials.
• Maintain readiness checklists for various project activities.
• Advise management on deviations and recovery actions to original plan.
• Expedite logistics supports for on-time delivery of project materials.
• Plan billing and dispatch with proper documentation.
• Submit final technical and commercial documents and follow up on payments.

Your Experience Should Be...

BE / B. Tech (Mech.) with 20+ years of experience in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers industry or any capital goods manufacturing industry.

Good computer skills with MSProject/ Primavera

Good knowledge in SAP is must.

Should have good knowledge in Production Planning, Scheduling, Forecasting, Estimation & Budgeting

What Will You Do?

• Sale order review, budgeting,planning, & scheduling ofjobordersin SAP.
• Organize regularkick off /Interface meetingswith internal stake holdersand escal projectissues / concerns for timely resolution by internalprojectteams.
• Co-ordination with client for the approval of technical documents like QAP, process sheet, Drawings etc and ensuring timely receipt of approved documents.
• Monitor, control and direct all aspects of activities for the execution of nominatedprojectscope to achieve completion within defined budgetary and time delivery targets.
• Handing over formalities with customer andProjectclosure.
• Co-ordination with client / customers regardingprojectprogress,projectplanning / scheduling, resolution or areas of concerns and technical issues.
• Ensure that specificprojectrequirements and procedures are communicated to all parties, team members, sub-contractors, etc., and that all activities are coordinated to ensure meeting the commonprojectobjectives.
• Analyze delays in Procurement of Critical and Long Lead items.
• Maintain Checklist for Readiness of variousProjectActivities.
• Advise to the management on any deviations from authorizedprojectschedule in a manner as to best effect recovery to original plan.
• Monitor and expedite logistics supports for on time delivery ofprojectmaterials
• Planning for billing and dispatch of products with suitable documents.
