Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking a Head - Planning at our Sri City, Andhra Pradesh site to lead production planning, scheduling, budgeting and forecasting for cryogenic equipment projects.

The role requires BE / B.Tech (Mech.) with 20+ years in cryogenic/pressure vessels or capital goods manufacturing, and strong SAP, MS Project and Primavera proficiency to drive on-time delivery and cost control.

Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech (Mech.) with 20+ years of experience in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers industry or related capital goods manufacturing.
• Strong computer skills with MS Project/ Primavera.
• Good knowledge in SAP is must.
• Should have good knowledge in Production Planning, Scheduling, Forecasting, Estimation & Budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Sale order review, budgeting, planning, & scheduling of job orders in SAP.
• Organize regular kick off / Interface meetings with internal stakeholders and escalate project issues for timely resolution.
• Coordinate with client for approval of technical documents (QAP, process sheets, drawings) and ensure timely receipt of approved documents.
• Monitor, control and direct all aspects of activities for project execution within budget and time targets.
• Handing over formalities with customer and project closure.
• Coordinate with client for project progress, planning / scheduling, and issue resolution.
• Ensure project requirements and procedures are communicated to all parties and teams.
• Analyze delays in procurement of critical and long lead items.
• Maintain readiness checklists for various project activities.
• Advise management on deviations to recover to original plan.
• Monitor and expedite logistics for on-time delivery of project materials.
• Plan billing and dispatch of products with appropriate documents.
• Submit final technical and commercial documents and manage payments.

Your Experience Should Be...

BE / B. Tech (Mech.) with 20+ years of experience in Cryogenic / Pressure Vessels / Oil & Gas / Boilers industry or any capital goods manufacturing industry.

Good computer skills with MSProject/ Primavera

Good knowledge in SAP is must.

Should have good knowledge in Production Planning, Scheduling, Forecasting, Estimation & Budgeting

What Will You Do?

• Sale order review, budgeting,planning, & scheduling ofjobordersin SAP.

• Ensure that specificprojectrequirements and procedures are communicated to all parties, team members, sub-contractors, etc., and that all activities are coordinated to ensure meeting the commonprojectobjectives.
• Analyze delays in Procurement of Critical and Long Lead items.
• Maintain Checklist for Readiness of variousProjectActivities.
• Advise to the management on any deviations from authorizedprojectschedule in a manner as to best effect recovery to original plan.
• Monitor and expedite logistics supports for on time delivery ofprojectmaterials
• Planning for billing and dispatch of products with suitable documents.
• Final technical and commercial documents submission and payment follow-up
