Job summary

JUMPS AUTO INDUSTRIES LTD., GURGAON is seeking an OPERATIONS HEAD to oversee plant operations, drive PQCD targets, and ensure seamless production. You will lead planning, procurement, and maintenance while building and guiding high‑performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Gurgaon.

The role reports to the Vice President and requires 10–15 years of manufacturing experience with BE/BTech or Diploma.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/Diploma or Equivalent with 10/15 years of experience in Manufacturing Industries.

• Strong understanding of production planning, maintenance, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and profitably manage overall Plant Operations.
• Ensure Customer, Supplier, and Employee Satisfaction.
• Lead Production Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Warehouse, and Material Management for uninterrupted production.
• Ensure effective Maintenance of plant machinery, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure to achieve maximum uptime.
• Drive Production Capacity Enhancement and Operational Excellence.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems and customer quality requirements.
• Create a safe, healthy, and disciplined work environment while maintaining harmonious employee relations.
• Build, develop, and mentor high-performing teams across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Stores, and Dispatch.
• Ensure overall Plant Operations Efficiency and Productivity.
• Continuously improve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery (PQCD) performance.
• Plan and optimize manpower, materials, machines, and other resources.
• Reduce manufacturing and operational costs while improving profitability.
• Ensure adherence to customer delivery schedules and quality requirements.
• Reduce overall inventory through effective planning and inventory control.
• Ensure smooth Warehouse, Stores, Material Handling, and Dispatch operations with accurate inventory management.
• Ensure uninterrupted material availability through coordination with Procurement and planning teams.
• Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all machines, utilities, and plant infrastructure to minimize downtime.
• Improve machine reliability, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and equipment utilization.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems, process controls, inspection standards, and continual quality improvement.
• Minimize customer complaints, supplier issues, internal rejections, and quality losses while achieving the highest customer and vendor ratings.
• Ensure statutory compliance related to Safety, Health, Environment, and Factory regulations.
• Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing, TS/IATF standards, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, ERP, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor production, maintenance, quality, warehouse, and dispatch performance through MIS and KPIs.
• Prepare and circulate periodic MIS reports and review operational performance with the Managing Director.
• Conduct regular review meetings with reporting managers and ensure timely closure of action plans.
• Provide technical guidance and operational support to Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams.
• Identify operational risks, capacity constraints, quality concerns, and resource dependencies, and proactively escalated them to the Managing Director.
• Ensure high employee engagement, discipline, training, and competency development across departments.
• Drive cross-functional coordination among Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Purchase, stores Warehouse and Dispatch for smooth plant operations.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
