Job summary

Altraize is seeking a Head – Projects & Design to lead planning, design, and execution for cafés, auditoriums, retail spaces, and customer experience zones in India. You will oversee concept development, layouts, vendor coordination, material selection, and delivery timelines while upholding brand consistency and operational practicality.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in projects, interiors, retail design, hospitality, or commercial space development.
• Experience in café, retail, entertainment, multiplex, or hospitality projects preferred.
• Experience in handling end-to-end project execution and vendor coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution: Plan and manage end-to-end project execution across cafés, auditoriums, and retail spaces.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, execution schedules, and implementation plans.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets.
• Design & Concept Development: Create innovative and customer-centric design concepts for Reels Rescafe locations.
• Develop layouts, space utilization plans, ambience concepts, and customer flow strategies.
• Ensure brand consistency across all design and visual elements.
• Work on color themes, décor concepts, signage, lighting, and customer experience aesthetics.
• Material & Vendor Management: Identify and finalize suitable materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Build and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, architects, and suppliers.
• Evaluate material quality, pricing, durability, and execution feasibility.
• Coordinate procurement and delivery schedules for project requirements.
• Technical & Operational Coordination: Work closely with Operations and Culinary teams to ensure functional and operational efficiency.
• Ensure kitchen layouts, customer areas, and service workflows are operationally practical.
• Support equipment planning and placement for efficient operations.
• Monitor site execution quality and compliance with approved designs.
• Project Monitoring & Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits and execution reviews.
• Track project milestones, vendor performance, and quality standards.
• Identify project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
