Role Description

The Head of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational activities across sourcing, inventory, production, and distribution. This role ensures that processes are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with quality and hygiene standards, while supporting the company’s growth in both retail and gifting segments. Day-to-day responsibilities include optimizing supply chain workflows, monitoring performance metrics, managing budgets and resource allocation, and coordinating with vendors and logistics partners. The Head of Operations will lead and mentor cross-functional teams, establish standard operating procedures, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. The role also involves close collaboration with leadership on strategic planning, expansion opportunities, and operational risk management.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, supply chain coordination, and quality assurance.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, track KPIs, forecast demand, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Candidates should possess effective Team Management and Communication skills to lead diverse teams, coordinate across departments, and maintain clear stakeholder engagement.
• Candidates should possess sound Budgeting and financial planning skills to manage operational costs, improve efficiency, and support profitability.
• Relevant experience in FMCG, food products, or retail operations is highly beneficial, along with knowledge of hygiene and compliance standards.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees or certifications in operations or logistics are an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
