Job summary

Bean Hr Consulting seeks a Regional Operations Head for Coastal and North Karnataka. You will own end-to-end P&L for the region, supervise 56-80 supermarkets, and drive annual business of 130-190 Crore.

The role requires 8+ years in retail operations, multi-store management, and strong leadership to coach Area and Store Managers, optimize manpower and costs, and ensure SOPs, compliance, and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete P&L for the coastal Karnataka region.
• Lead operations for 56-80 supermarkets, delivering an annual business of 130-190 Crore.
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and productivity through strong operational execution.
• Ensure achievement of key business metrics including sales, EBITDA, shrinkage, inventory health, availability, and customer satisfaction.
• Improve store productivity through manpower planning, cost optimization, and process improvements.
• Drive merchandising execution, assortment compliance, pricing accuracy, and promotional effectiveness.
• Ensure superior customer experience by maintaining service standards, store hygiene, and visual merchandising.
• Build and develop high-performing Area Managers and Store Managers through coaching and succession planning.
• Monitor regional KPIs and initiate corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Buying & Merchandising, HR, Finance, Marketing, and other support functions.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, statutory compliance, audit requirements, and loss prevention.
• Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in retail operations with a leading retail, grocery, QSR, or consumer business.
• Proven experience managing multi-store operations with ownership of regional P&L.
• Experience managing 40+ stores with annual business responsibility of 100 Crore or more will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, sales planning, and customer experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large cross-functional teams and deliver consistent business results.
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• MBA or Postgraduate qualification from Tier 1-2 B-School Or BTech
