Job summary

HR Executive required for a manufacturing unit at Talawade, Pune. Responsible for recruitment, attendance and payroll inputs, PF / ESIC / PT compliance, contract labour coordination, statutory registers and general administration. 57 years experience, preferably in a factory environment.

We seek an independent professional to manage end-to-end HR for the shop-floor and staff, ensuring confidentiality and smooth operations across payroll and compliance processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA-HR, MPM or a Diploma in HR / Labour Law will be preferred.
• 5 to 7 years of HR experience, of which recent experience should be in a manufacturing or engineering unit.
• Working knowledge of PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, the Factories Act and the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act.
• Experience of handling contract labour compliance in a factory environment will be strongly preferred.
• Good command of MS Excel and MS Word; experience with attendance or payroll software will be an advantage.
• Communication in Marathi, Hindi and English.
• Ability to deal with shop-floor workforce with maturity and to maintain confidentiality of employee data.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for shop-floor and staff positions sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer and joining.
• Maintain employee master data, personnel files, joining documentation and exit formalities.
• Maintain daily attendance, leave, overtime and shift records and prepare the monthly payroll input.
• Coordinate with labour contractors for the contract workforce attendance, bill verification, licenses and compliance documents.
• Handle statutory compliance PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, bonus and gratuity records and coordinate with the compliance consultant.
• Maintain statutory registers under the Factories Act and the Contract Labour (R&A) Act and support inspections and audits.
• Handle employee queries, grievances and disciplinary documentation.
• Organise induction, safety briefings, training records and the skill matrix.
• Manage general administration canteen, uniform, gate pass, ID cards, housekeeping and stationery.
• Maintain HR documentation required under ISO 9001 job descriptions, competency records and training evidence.

Preferred candidate profile
