Job summary

GVK Emergency Management and Research Institute (GVK EMRI) is seeking an experienced HR manager to oversee the complete HR function across various operational locations in North Goa, India. The role includes formulating HR strategies, managing recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial relations and will be responsible for monitoring employee engagement initiatives and performance appraisals, driving digital transformation in HR processes, and liaising with government authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete HR function across all operational locations.
• Formulate and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of associates.
• Experience in industrial relations and union negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including ESIC, PF, and Labour Laws.
• Coordinate statutory and HR audits.
• Manage payroll, attendance, and workforce scheduling.
• Drive employee engagement and grievance redressal initiatives.
• Implement performance appraisal systems.
• Maintain liaison with labour departments and government authorities.
• Optimize manpower planning and cost control through data-driven analytics.
• Lead HR digital transformation initiatives.

1. Lead and manage the complete HR function across all operational locations.

2. Formulate and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational and service objectives.

3. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention of field, support, and call centre associates.

4. Experience in industrial relations and union negotiations to maintain a harmonious work environment.

5. Ensure 100% compliance with statutory requirements including ESIC, PF, Shops & Establishment, and Labour Laws.

6. Coordinate statutory and HR audits and ensure timely resolution of all audit observations.

7. Manage payroll, attendance, and workforce scheduling efficiently through HRMS software.

8. Drive employee engagement, welfare, and grievance redressal initiatives.

9. Implement fair and transparent performance appraisal and disciplinary systems.

10. Maintain strong liaison with labour departments and government authorities.

11. Optimize manpower planning and cost control through data-driven HR analytics.

12. Lead HR digital transformation and process automation initiatives across the organization.
