Job summary

Star Automobiles is seeking an senior HR leader to drive people strategies across multiple locations in India. You will shape the HR vision, develop leaders, and ensure robust talent pipelines to meet ambitious growth plans under Vision 2030.

You will lead HR operations, governance and digital transformation, ensuring payroll, compliance and benefits are delivered effectively while building a high-performance culture across Star Group.

Qualifications

• 15–20+ years of HR leadership in large, multi-location organisations.
• Strong experience in recruitment, talent development, performance management and employee engagement.
• Good knowledge of labour laws, payroll, statutory compliance and employee benefits.
• Proven ability to build teams, develop future leaders and support growth.
• Understanding of IT, HRMS, automation and HR reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and develop HR Heads across all Star Group businesses and locations.
• Develop and execute the Group HR strategy aligned with Vision 2030 and business growth plans.
• Build a strong internal talent pipeline through cross-functional learning and internal promotions.
• Attract, recruit and retain quality talent across all levels; strengthen apprenticeship and trainee programmes.
• Build future leaders through succession planning, coaching, training and capability development.
• Drive a high-performance culture through goal setting, performance appraisals and accountability.
• Lead HR standardization and digital transformation through HRMS, automation, analytics and dashboards.
• Ensure timely salaries, incentives and statutory benefits including PF, ESI and gratuity.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory requirements, licences and HR governance.
• Develop technical, managerial and leadership training programmes to strengthen Star Group as an employer of choice.
