Job summary

Prachay Group in Pune district, Maharashtra, India, is seeking a senior fundraising leader to drive capital strategy across banks, HNIs, private equity investors and institutional funds.

You will own end-to-end fundraising, debt and equity structuring, treasury management, and investor relations, building a high‑impact treasury function and partnering with the CEO on capital decisions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in fundraising, treasury, corporate finance, institutional funding, debt/equity raising, or financial services.
  • Senior leadership roles with strong relationships across banks, HNIs, private equity firms, family offices and institutional investors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end fundraising initiatives across banks, HNIs, private equity investors, family offices and institutional investors.
  • Develop and execute the organization’s fundraising strategy in line with business growth and capital requirements.
  • Personally engage with CFOs, Credit Heads and senior decision-makers at banks and private companies to raise funds and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential funding partners.
  • Identify new sources of capital and develop long-term institutional relationships.
  • Debt & Equity Structuring and Lead the structuring of debt and equity instruments for optimal capital mix.
  • Evaluate funding options based on cost, tenure, liquidity and business requirements.
  • Negotiate funding terms, pricing, covenants, security structures and other commercial terms.
  • Ensure adequate credit limits and funding availability to support AUM and business growth.
  • Treasury & Liquidity Management: lead liquidity planning and ensure funds are available; monitor cash flows and funding requirements.
  • Investor & Stakeholder Management: act as primary financial representative with investors, banks, NBFCs, FIIs and other intermediaries; report transparently.
  • Rating Agency & Lender Management: build relationships with rating agencies and coordinate data submissions.
  • Leadership: partner with CEO on capital strategy, provide updates on pipeline and costs, mentor treasury team.

Job description

  • Lead end-to-end fundraising initiatives across banks, HNIs, private equity investors, family offices and institutional investors.
  • Develop and execute the organization’s fundraising strategy in line with business growth and capital requirements.
  • Personally engage with CFOs, Credit Heads and senior decision-makers at banks and Private Companies to raise funds and negotiate commercial terms.

  • Investor & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary financial representative with investors, private equity firms, family offices, mutual funds, banks, NBFCs, FIIs, debenture trustees, registrars, brokers and other financial intermediaries.
  • Build strong stakeholder confidence through transparent communication and timely reporting.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing lenders and investors while continuously developing new relationships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with credit rating agencies.
  • Lead rating reviews, data submissions and interactions with rating agencies.
  • Coordinate with lenders, trustees and other stakeholders for funding and credit-related requirements.
  • Work towards maintaining and improving credit ratings in line with fundraising objectives.

  • Partner closely with the CEO and senior leadership on capital strategy and fundraising decisions.
  • Provide regular updates on fundraising pipeline, funding costs, liquidity and market developments.
  • Lead and mentor the fundraising/treasury team and build a strong institutional funding function.

Experience
