Job summary

Happy Hrd And Corporate Solutions in Chennai seeks a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design, development and production engineering responsibilities. You will drive process planning, tooling knowledge, plant layout optimisation and productivity improvements while coordinating OEM interactions and NPD efforts.

The role requires a BE in Mechanical with 15-23 years of experience in automotive Tier1 environments, with a proven track record from design to prototype and strong cross-functional

Qualifications

• BE Mech with 15-23 years of experience in design/production engineering, product development and process development.
• Exposure in Auto Tier1 is must.
• OEM interaction with proven NPD experience.
• Design to prototype experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and production engineering activities across the product lifecycle.
• Oversee process planning, tooling knowledge, and plant layout optimization.
• Drive productivity improvements and cross-functional collaboration with OEMs and NPD teams.
