Job summary

Veave Technologies in India is seeking an experienced design engineer to perform engineering calculations for product design of automotive components and systems.

The candidate will support manufacturing engineering and quality, work on product changes, and ensure proper implementation with CATIA V5 CAD experience. Exposure to plastic and sheet metal design, sunroof systems, and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile engineering.
• 6 to 12 years of design experience in automotive components.
• CATIA V5 CAD design experience required.
• Experience in plastic and sheet metal product design.
• Knowledge of automotive sunroof systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations for product design of components and systems.
• Support manufacturing engineering and quality; surfacing.
• Work on product changes and ensure correct implementation.
• Ensure robust bookshelf solutions align with Centers of Expertise product strategies.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

Perform engineering calculations necessary for the product design of these components and systems.

• Provide support to manufacturing engineering and quality. Surfacing.
• Work on product changes and make sure that they are implemented correctly.
• CAD experience is required in CATIA V5.
• Must have experience in design and development activities of automotive parts.
• Ensure the robust application of bookshelf solutions in line with the product strategies of the Centers of Expertise.

Preferred candidate profile

BE/B. Teach ( Mechanical/Automobile) With 6 to 12 Years

Hands on Experience in CATIA.

Experience in Plastic, Sheet metal Product Design & Process.

Knowledge in Automotive Product.

Accountable for design and development Sunroof systems.

Good Communication Skill and presentation skills.
