Job summary

Talent Craft Mumbai is seeking a senior corporate finance professional to lead fundraising strategy and execution, coordinating with the CFO, CEO and promoters to align capital raises with growth plans and oversee end-to-end debt and equity transactions.

The role requires 10–12 years in corporate finance or investment banking, along with a CA or MBA in Finance and strong modelling, valuation and negotiation skills with banks, NBFCs, PE/VC, and strategic investors.

Qualifications

• Preferred candidate profile: CA or MBA in Finance, recognized institution.
• 10–12 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Investment Banking or Fund Raising.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in corporate fund raising.
• Proven success in raising debt and/or equity capital from banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, PE/VC or strategic investors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive fund-raising strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead fund raising through banks, NBFCs, private equity, venture capital and other channels.
• Drive end-to-end execution of equity, structured finance and hybrid funding transactions.
• Structure and negotiate funding arrangements including terms, pricing, covenants and documentation.
• Prepare investment memorandums, financial models, business plans, valuations and investor materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, rating agencies and funding partners.
• Collaborate with CFO, CEO and promoters to assess funding needs and align initiatives with strategy.
• Coordinate with external advisors for successful transaction execution.
• Manage the complete fund-raising lifecycle from opportunity identification to closure and post-disbursement compliance.
• Monitor regulatory and governance requirements and provide strategic funding recommendations.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive fund-raising strategies aligned with the Company's business plans and growth objectives.
• Lead fund raising through multiple channels including:
  • Banks and Financial Institutions
  • NBFCs
  • Private Equity Funds
  • Venture Capital Investors
  • Strategic Investors
  • Equity Markets
  • Alternative Financing Platforms
• Drive end-to-end execution of equity, structured finance, and hybrid funding transactions.
• Structure and negotiate funding arrangements, including commercial terms, pricing, security structures, covenants, repayment schedules, and documentation.
• Prepare investment memorandums, financial models, business plans, valuation analyses, investor presentations, and funding proposals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, financial institutions, rating agencies, and funding partners.
• Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), CEO, business leaders, and promoters to assess funding requirements and align capital-raising initiatives with the organization's strategic objectives.
• Coordinate with investment bankers, legal advisors, auditors, valuers, consultants, and other external stakeholders for successful transaction execution.
• Manage the complete fund-raising lifecycle from opportunity identification to financial closure and post-disbursement compliance.
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory, statutory, legal, and corporate governance requirements.
• Monitor funding pipelines and provide periodic MIS, transaction updates, and strategic recommendations to the CFO and senior management.
• Continuously evaluate opportunities to optimize the organization's capital structure and reduce the overall cost of funds.
• Support strategic initiatives including expansion projects, acquisitions, capital expenditure, and long-term growth investments.

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA in Finance from a recognized institution.
• Additional qualifications or certifications in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Investment Banking, or Financial Management will be an added advantage.
• 10-12 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Treasury, Investment Banking, or Fund Raising.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in corporate fund raising.
• Proven experience in raising debt and/or equity capital from banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, private equity investors, venture capital firms, or strategic investors.
• Demonstrated success in independently managing end-to-end funding transactions and achieving financial closures.
• Strong experience in financial modelling, valuation, capital structuring, and transaction management.
• Exposure to manufacturing, mining, infrastructure, engineering, industrial, or other capital-intensive sectors will be preferred.
