Qualifications

  • Graduate with PG Diploma in mass communication.
  • Experience in corporate communication or IR is preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of corporate communication experience in a similar industry.

Job description

Job Purpose

To drive responsibilities at Corporate Relation function as a catalyst, in order to establish, nurture, strengthen, and retain relations with all stake holders for Business growth and expansion & smooth business function. To implement the CSR projects in line with the CSR policy,

Corporate communication to highlight the plant achievements, CSR activities & projects. Coordination and relations with media & media persons. Industry Relations to support HR & resolve the IR issues Legal issues to be sort out, document support, coordination with legal team.

Key Accountabilities
  • Corporate Relations:
  • To create, nurture, strengthen, and retain relations with all stake holders for Business growth and expansion.
  • To defusing the challenges, getting feedback from external environment and lobbying for the business.
  • Ensure co-ordination with the political, social & outside stake holders for smooth functioning of the plant.
  • Coordination for Revenue/Payment:
  • To reduce, minimize the fees, bills, payments with the stakeholders under the suitable laws, Govt. notifications and savings for the organizations.
  • Manage various demands from the external stake holders, demand from the political leaders, Govt. departments without disturbing the plant operations.
  • To analyse the stake holders demand and correlate with the CSR policy. To avoid demand from the panchayat, political stakeholders without conflicts in relations.
  • Statutory/Regulatory obligations, IR Issues:
  • Ensure for adherence to all statutory obligation applicable under the provisions of factory act. Labour act. And support & co-ordinate with the Govt. agencies to obtain the statutory compliances, licenses on time in association with the user department.
  • To resolves all Industrial Relations (IR) issues, to co-ordinate & resolve legal issues in labour court, district court.
  • To coordinate and sort out IR issues with coordination with the political & local stake holders, Panchyat bodies.
  • To be identify and observe the union activities and resolve the issues with the coordination with HR.
  • To coordinate and resolve the legal notices, issues regarding land, IR and Govt. department.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details
  • Corporate Communication:
  • Ensure the press release, media coverage for the achievements, CSR activities for creation of goodwill of the organization with in the stake holders.
  • To avoid the adverse coverage, news of the organization. Good relations with the media persons.
  • To publish & highlights positive stories in print and social media for plant achievements, awards winning stories, CSR projects.
  • Shall be responsible for all internal communication and also publish In-house publication – Darpan.
  • To coordinate ceremonies and other events or special project.
  • To maintain the relation with Print & electronics media and media persons get positive stories in the media and coverage.
  • to frequently act as company spokesperson in crises situation
  • To Identify potential public relation problems and advice company officials of appropriate preventive actions
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Safety & EHS.
  • Co-ordination and support for the safety & EHS related statutory compliances.
  • Interaction and co-ordination with the local authorities, police department, Pollution Control board, District Industry Health & Safety department and get the support on time in emergency situations.
  • Arrange and motivate the external stakeholders for safety & health awareness programs, function’s like safety weak, road safety weak. Fire day, Environment day etc.
  • Co-ordination & relations with the nearby industries to get the support, help if required at the time of emergency situations.
EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
  • Coordination’s with the Govt. agencies MPCB, MSETCL, Revenue, irrigation, MIDC, Explosive department, Legal Meteorology Department. Etc.
  • District Collectors, Police Superintendent office & SDM and local revenue and police department.
  • To identify the needs of the stake holders & coordinate with CSR team to implement the project.
  • To resolve the issues with the Panchayat, local authorities, administration, to obtain required clearances, permissions to implement the CSR projects in the villages.
  • To highlight, project the CSR activities in media, district administrations, political platform to get the goodwill for CSR activities.
INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
  • Interact with Department Heads on a regular basis in order to understand and manage any IR issues
