Job summary

Algor Supply Chain Solutions in Mumbai seeks an IT Desktop Support Assistant responsible for provisioning laptops/desktops for new hires, installing Windows and drivers, configuring Outlook/365, and creating user IDs. The role covers asset tracking, maintenance, and first-line IT support to ensure seamless onboarding.

The candidate will coordinate hardware repairs, manage inventory, and assist employees with hardware/software issues, enabling smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Laptop and desktop allocation for new employees after complete system preparation.
• Formatting and installation of Windows, drivers, and required software.
• Outlook and Microsoft 365 configuration.
• TM SID/User ID creation and account setup.
• Microsoft Excel and other required application installations.
• Hardware troubleshooting and repair coordination.
• Asset allocation, tracking, and inventory management.
• Resolving day-to-day hardware and IT support tickets.
• Preventive maintenance of laptops, desktops, and other IT assets.
