Job summary

Tanisha Systems Inc. is seeking a seasoned Hardware Development engineer (Lighting) in Chennai, India. The role targets specialists with 6–10 years of experience in electronics hardware design, focusing on lighting applications and power electronics.

Responsibilities include designing electronics hardware, implementing CAN/LIN/I2C/SPI interfaces, and conducting rigorous unit and integration testing to ensure safety and EMI/EMC compliance. Immediate joiner preferred.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in electronics hardware development.
• Experience with lighting hardware or power electronics is preferred.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in design, testing, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronics hardware for lighting systems.
• Develop and validate CAN/LIN, I2C, and SPI interfaces.
• Perform unit and integration testing, including worst-case analysis and EMI/EMC compliance.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in electronics design and development.
• Good experience in the design of CAN/LIN, I2C, and SPI.
• Deep knowledge of power supply design (SMPS, LDOs) and various switching topologies (Buck-Boost, SEPIC, Bridge, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with electronic unitary and integration testing.
• Proficiency in electronic circuit simulation, worst-case analysis, and related testing.
• Good exposure to safety and EMI/EMC concepts and design techniques.
• Experience with PCB layout integration concepts and hardware-software interfaces.
