Role and Responsibility

• Understand customer requirements, define product solutions, optimize product cost, and provide accurate effort estimations.
• Lead and manage multiple hardware development projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and technical excellence.
• Mentor and guide team members through performance planning, coaching, and regular evaluations.
• Establish and drive best practices in hardware design, testing, documentation, and debugging.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture through effective communication and leadership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with semiconductor vendors, FAEs, customers, and strategic partners.
• Support pre-sales activities, including technical discussions, solution definition, and proposal preparation.
• Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Firmware, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.

Preferred Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in hardware design and embedded systems development.
• Strong expertise in ARM Cortex-A/M SoCs, multi-layer board design, board bring-up, and hardware optimization.
• Proficiency in schematic and layout design and review using OrCAD Capture and/or Altium Designer.
• Strong knowledge of Signal Integrity, Thermal Analysis, EMI/EMC compliance, and product certifications (FCC, CE, UL).
• Extensive experience with digital interfaces including I²C, SPI, Ethernet, USB, SDIO, MIPI, HDMI, and DDR3/DDR4.
• Expertise in battery-powered and ultra-low-power hardware design preferred.
• Proven experience leading teams of 5+ engineers and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong customer-facing, vendor management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, and solution development.
