Warner Electronic in India is seeking an experienced hardware engineer for CCTV/IP camera development. You will design circuits, PCBs, and camera SoCs, integrating sensors, PoE, Wi‑Fi, and 4G modules while ensuring reliability and manufacturability.

The role involves power management, protection schemes, board bring-up, debugging, and collaboration with certification teams to meet BIS and related requirements. Experience with multiple platform vendors is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in CCTV/IP camera development and camera SoCs.
• Sensor integration and day/night operation.
• PoE, solar/battery-powered cameras incl. low-power designs.
• Hardware security features and production provisioning.

Aufgaben

• Develop circuit schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and hardware specs.
• Design and integrate camera SoCs, CMOS image sensors, DDR, SPI NOR/NAND flash, Wi‑Fi, and 4G modules.
• Design power supplies, PoE interfaces, LED drivers, audio circuits, and motor drivers.
• Implement reverse-polarity, overvoltage, surge, ESD, and thermal protections.
• Board bring-up, hardware debugging, power measurements, and image-sensor interface validation.
• Review PCB layouts for signal/power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC, manufacturability.
• Qualify alternative components for compatibility and reliability.
• Prepare hardware test reports and production documentation.
• Support SMT assembly, production testing, FFA, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with BIS, STQC and product certification teams.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop circuit schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and hardware specifications.
• Design and integrate camera SoCs, CMOS image sensors, DDR, SPI NOR/NAND flash, Wi-Fi modules, and 4G modules.
• Design power supplies, PoE interfaces, IR and white-light LED drivers, audio circuits, and motor drivers.
• Implement reverse-polarity, overvoltage, surge, ESD, and thermal protection.
• Perform board bring-up, hardware debugging, power measurements, and image-sensor interface validation.
• Review PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, grounding, EMI/EMC, and manufacturability.
• Qualify alternative components for compatibility, performance, and reliability.
• Prepare hardware test reports, engineering change records, and production documentation.
• Support SMT assembly, production testing, field failure analysis, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with certification teams for applicable BIS, STQC, and other product requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Experience

• CCTV/IP camera development using Augentix, Qualcomm, Innofusion,Sigmastar Novatek, or similar platforms.
• Sensor integration, IR-cut control, PT/PTZ motor control, and day/night operation.
• PoE, solar-powered and battery-operated cameras, and low-power designs.
• Hardware security features, secure elements, and production provisioning.
