Job summary

Coforge in Bengaluru is seeking an Electronic Hardware Engineer with 1+ year of hands-on experience in analog, digital, and power electronics. You will develop circuits, manage EBOMs, and collaborate with software, mechanical and validation teams.

In-office role with 24x7 shift expectations supporting product lifecycle from design to testing. You will work across manufacturing and customer interfaces to ensure compliance, traceability, and timely milestones, while validating hardware through lab

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and power electronics design.
  • Hands-on hardware development and validation experience.
  • PCB design/layout concepts and embedded systems experience.
  • Familiarity with lab instruments like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Understanding of CAN, LIN and Ethernet protocols and EMC/EMI testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform component-level and product-level compatibility analysis and component selection.
  • Create and maintain EBOMs and design records.
  • Design and develop analog, digital, and power electronic circuits.
  • Conduct design calculations, component assessments, and compatibility evaluations.
  • Support PCB layout reviews and embedded hardware development activities.
  • Coordinate product-level EMC, EMI, environmental, and reliability testing.
  • Perform hardware testing, simulation, lab validation, and debugging activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation, customer reports, test reports, and design records.
  • Work with manufacturing plants to support production and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, and validation teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Interface with OEM customers, suppliers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to address queries.
  • Ensure requirements traceability and compliance with milestones and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
  • Understanding of EMC/EMI, reliability, and compliance testing.
  • Familiarity with product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
