Job summary

Jobsguru Consultant in Ambernath seeks a Design Hardware Engineer with 5-10 years' hands-on experience in end-to-end hardware and embedded product development. You will lead analog/digital, power electronics, EMI concerns, and MCU-based designs, coordinating with R&D and production.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, PCB design with Altium, and integration of sensors and interfaces such as UART/SPI/CAN/USB.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics / EXTC / Electrical / Instrumentation or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in hardware and embedded product development.
• Strong knowledge of Analog, Digital, Power Electronics and Embedded Systems.
• Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end electronic hardware design & development independently.
• Design Analog, Digital, Power Electronics, SMPS, DC-DC, MOSFET & control circuits.
• Microcontroller-based circuit design and component selection.
• Schematic design, PCB design/layout, BOM preparation & hardware validation.
• Interface and integration of Sensors, Displays, ADC/DAC, Relays, Motors, Drivers, etc.
• Hardware debugging, testing and root-cause analysis.
• EMI/EMC design considerations, testing and troubleshooting as per applicable standards.
• Experience in EMI/EMC mitigation techniques, including grounding, shielding, filtering, layout and noise reduction.
• Hands-on experience with Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Power Supply, Function Generator, Electronic Load, etc.
• Develop and debug embedded firmware.
• Experience with MCU programming, bootloader, firmware upgrade and debugging.
• Implement communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, IC, RS232/RS485, CAN, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
• Develop communication protocols and interface software for hardware peripherals.
• Integration of sensors, displays, motors, communication modules and other peripherals.
• Firmware testing, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Independently handle projects from concept design prototype testing validation production.
• Coordinate with R&D, Production, Purchase and Quality teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports and design change records.
• Should be capable of working independently with minimum supervision.
