Job summary

Headway Consultant Pune is seeking an experienced Manager Hardware Design to lead the hardware product development from concept to production in Hinjewadi, Pune. The role requires guiding the hardware design team, driving innovation, ensuring design quality, and delivering reliable, cost-effective hardware solutions.

The candidate will review schematics, PCB layouts, and documentation, ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
• 12+ years of hardware design and team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of PCB design, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end hardware design from concept to production.
• Mentor and manage Hardware Design, Embedded, and Validation engineers.
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, Gerber files, and BOMs.
• Ensure EMI/EMC compliance, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Drive design reviews, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements.
• Support prototype development, testing, pilot builds, and production releases.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager Hardware Design to lead hardware product development from concept to production. The role involves managing the hardware design team, driving innovation, ensuring design quality, and delivering reliable, cost-effective hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end hardware design, development, validation, and product release.
• Manage and mentor Hardware Design, Embedded, and Validation Engineers.
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, Gerber files, component selection, and design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Drive design reviews, root cause analysis, DFM/DFA, and product reliability improvements.
• Support prototype development, testing, pilot builds, and production.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Hardware Design and PCB Design.
• Knowledge of Signal Integrity, EMI/EMC, and hardware validation.
• Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (Altium/Cadence/OrCAD or similar).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
