Job description

Hardware Design Engineer

Job Description

• Handle hardware system design including end to end product development involving complex analog & digital circuit design with 16/32/64-bit microcontroller/processor/FPGA based designs
• Collaborate with mechanical, layout, and firmware engineers to successfully develop and validate the hardware designs
• Should be able to work on digital communication protocols and high speed designs
• Ability to analyse and predict design performance using simulation tools, analytical skills.
• Lead discussions with suppliers / manufacturing team on hardware / prototype development
• Collaborate with project manager for integration with overall project milestones, responsible to bring up issues and potential resolutions.
• Conduct technical reviews with technical experts/stakeholders

Required Skills

• Well versed in PCB design tools, experience in Allegro, Mentor Graphics
• Experience in modeling, simulation, and analysis with tools like MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, PSIM
• Experience in validation & debugging of embedded circuits
• Experience in high-speed design
• Experience in EMI, EMC compliant designs
