Job summary

Nationwide Technology in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned technologist to deliver secure Guidewire-based solutions. The role blends Java development, API integrations, and cloud/DevSecOps practices in a collaborative, agile context across India and global teams.

You will contribute to design, implementation, and continuous improvement while aligning with security standards and engineering best practices. Hybrid in-office collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Six+ years technology experience.
• Three+ years with Guidewire applications, configurations, or integrations.
• Strong Java and security knowledge.
• Experience in agile, global environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, configure, develop, test, and deploy Guidewire solutions in an agile setup.
• Apply secure SDLC practices to protect applications, data, and integrations.
• Utilize DevSecOps tools for build, deployment, testing, and release activities.
• Configure and enhance Guidewire workflows, models, and integrations.
• Develop and support integrations using APIs and data exchanges across platforms.
• Troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and production items with peers.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzes, designs, configures, develops, tests, debugs, documents, and deploys Guidewire solutions according to standards in an agile environment.
• Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to help protect applications, integrations, and data from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling, and techniques to support build, deployment, testing, and release activities.
• Configures and enhances Guidewire workflows, rules, product model components, integrations, and supporting services.
• Develops and supports integrations using APIs, messaging, batch processes, and data exchange patterns across Guidewire and adjacent platforms.
• Troubleshoots defects, performance issues, and production support items and drives timely resolution with peers and partner teams.
• Partners with product, QA, architecture teams to clarify requirements and deliver workable, scalable solutions.
• Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice, and innovation.
• Manages medium- to large-sized project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables proactively.
• Collaborates effectively across India and global teams while adhering to company standards, security expectations, and engineering practices.

Education

Qualifications & Experience

Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree.

Experience

Six or more years of technology experience. Three or more years of experience working with Guidewire applications, configurations, or integrations is preferred.
