Job summary

ValueMomentum in Hyderabad is seeking a Guidewire – Technical Manager to lead complex insurance technology programs, with emphasis on ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and data insights.

You will partner with customers, drive Agile delivery across onsite and offshore teams, mentor engineers, and champion AI-enabled automation to accelerate software delivery.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of IT experience with a strong focus on Insurance Technology, enterprise application delivery, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter experience including design, configuration, integration, upgrades, and post-production support.
• Strong expertise in P&C insurance across claims, underwriting, and operations.
• Track record delivering Guidewire implementations and modernization programs with cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum teams across onsite and offshore.
• Leadership in communication, stakeholder management, budgeting, risk management, and resource planning.
• Experience leveraging Agentic AI/Generative AI to improve delivery and automation.
• PMP/PMI-ACP/SAFe Agilist or CSM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Following are the day-to-day work activities:

• Partner with customers and business stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead project planning, effort estimation, risk management, dependency tracking, and change governance across onsite and offshore teams.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and Agile execution through effective program and delivery management practices.
• Leverage Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions to automate workflows, enhance decision‑making, improve reporting, and accelerate software delivery.
• Champion AI-powered tools for requirements analysis, documentation, risk identification, effort estimation, and productivity optimization.
• Possess strong experience in the Guidewire ClaimCenter ecosystem, supporting claims management processes, business analysis, stakeholder coordination, and delivery governance for insurance clients.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, governance frameworks, security policies, and customer commitments while mentoring teams on emerging technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Candidates are required to have these mandatory skills to get the eligibility of their profile assessed. The must have requirements are:

• 12 to 15 years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on Insurance Technology, enterprise application delivery, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter, including solution design, configuration, customization, integration, extensions, upgrades, migrations, and post‑production support.
• Strong expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, with extensive experience across claims management, underwriting, and insurance operations.
• Proven track record of delivering Guidewire implementation, enhancement, and modernization programs while collaborating with business, architecture, and technology stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience leading Agile/Scrum teams, managing program delivery, stakeholder engagement, and execution across onsite and offshore teams.
• Strong understanding of Guidewire ClaimCenter business processes, integrations, data migration, batch processes, APIs, and platform best practices.
• Experience managing vendors and third‑party partners, ensuring alignment with project goals, delivery commitments, and quality standards.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities in communication, stakeholder management, project planning, budgeting, risk management, negotiation, resource planning, and organizational development.
• Experience leveraging Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions to improve delivery efficiency, automate workflows, enhance decision‑making, and accelerate business outcomes.
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives, mentor teams, and foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Agile Certification (PMI-ACP, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent) preferred.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Scrum certification preferred.
