Runable builds software that helps small and medium businesses grow — the tooling, automation, and workflows that let a lean team operate like a much larger one. Our customers are spread across the globe, and they judge us by whether their business runs better after talking to us.

What You'll Do
- Run discovery conversations with customers and prospects across regions, diagnosing the real pain point behind the request they came in with.
- Recommend solutions you can defend — the right plan, module, or workflow for their business, and a clear no when Runable is not the fit.
- Deliver product demos tailored to the customer's business, not a generic feature tour.
- Own upsell and cross-sell: spot expansion signals in usage and conversations, build the business case, and close the upgrade.
- Manage the full inside sales cycle end to end — qualification, evaluation, objection handling, negotiation, and close.
- Drive renewals and account health in partnership with support, catching churn risk before it shows up in the numbers.
- Keep the CRM accurate and current: every conversation logged, every pipeline stage honest, forecasts you can be held to.
- Follow up relentlessly and professionally across email, phone, and chat until there is a clear decision either way.
- Feed patterns back to product and marketing — recurring objections, missing capabilities, competitor moves.
- Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for new revenue, expansion revenue, and pipeline coverage.
Requirements
- 2–5 years in inside sales, SaaS sales, account management, or customer success with a revenue number attached.
- Track record of consistently meeting or beating quota — bring the numbers and be ready to walk through them.
- Excellent spoken and written English; you can hold a confident, clear conversation with a customer in any market.
- Genuine consultative selling ability — you ask questions before pitching and can diagnose a problem the customer has not articulated well.
- Comfort selling to SMB owners and operators, including non-technical buyers.
- Demonstrated upsell and cross-sell experience in an existing customer base.
- Strong objection handling and negotiation skills without discounting as the default move.
- Hands‑on CRM discipline (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or similar) and comfort with sales tooling and dashboards.
- Enough product curiosity to learn a software product deeply and explain it simply.
- Organised and self-driven: you manage your own pipeline, priorities, and follow-up without being chased.
- Willing to work with customers across time zones and adjust hours when a deal or an escalation needs it.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling to SMBs in international markets (US, EU, MEA, APAC).
- Background in a product-led or self‑serve SaaS motion, converting free or trial users into paid.
- Exposure to automation, workflow, or AI-adjacent products.
- Experience building outbound sequences or working a mixed inbound and outbound pipeline.
- Familiarity with sales frameworks (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger) and the judgment to know when to drop them.
- A second language useful for a market we serve.
What Success Looks Like
Timeframe
Expected outcome
First 30 days :
Product mastery, shadowed and then independent discovery calls, CRM and process fully in hand.
First 60 days :
Managing your own pipeline end to end, closing new business, first upsell conversions landed.
First 90 days :
Consistently hitting quota, a healthy self‑built pipeline, and a documented view of the objections and expansion triggers in your segment.
How You'll Work
You work from our Bangalore office alongside product, support, and marketing — which means a customer question rarely waits more than an hour for a real answer. You will use a modern sales stack (CRM, calling and meeting tools, sequencing, dashboards) and have direct access to the people who build the product.
Why Runable
- Real ownership of your accounts and your number — no layers between you and the customer.
- Small team, high leverage: your feedback changes the product roadmap, not a suggestion box.
- Global customer base, so the problems and the deals stay varied.
- Compensation is benchmarked to experience and performance, with the incentive structure discussed openly in the first conversation.
