Job summary

SV Management Consultants seeks an Electrical/Electronics Engineer for an Auto OEM role in Gujarat, India. The candidate will ensure safety practices during quality checks, analyze electrical issues with SQE collaboration, and drive containment and corrective actions.

The role involves circuit tracing, RCA, and hands-on diagnosis of EV wiring harnesses, lighting systems, and EV battery basics. 6–8 years in Auto OEM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics engineering required.
• 6–8 years of experience in Auto OEM preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality checks and problem-solving tools.

Responsibilities

• Recognizes and communicates safe work practices as the highest priority during quality checks.
• Analyze internal & external customer complaints related to Electrical Issues; coordinate with SQE and track corrective actions.
• Establish immediate containment actions for line/field electrical issues.
• Handle issues related to vehicle electrical systems; implement containment, corrective, and preventive actions.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Recognizes and communicates safe work practices as the highest priority and establishes guidelines for health/safety, Incident Reporting, Problem Resolution, Ergonomics and regular SOTs & Safety Checks at all levels during quality checks.
• Responsible for Internal & external customer complaints analysis, communicating with SQE and track corrective action plans for all issues related to Electrical Issues.
• Responsible for established immediate containment actions for line/field issue related with Electrical Issues.
• Handleall issues related vehicle electrical facing online side and take Containment actions/ corrective action/Preventive action, etc.
• Circuit inspection at vehicle level & Circuit tracing to diagnose problem finding RCA.
• Knowledge onEVs, understanding wiring harness, lighting systems, hand on experience on diagnosing EVs, EVs child parts understanding, process know how on basic electrical manufacturing process involved.
• Basic understanding of EV battery manufacturing.
• 7 QC tools, 5S, Kaizen, P-Y concept understanding, and intermediate skills on excel sheet/ppt. 5W analysis/8D report preparation.
• Responsible for Down time online side for parts issue related Electrical (Lamps/ Electronic Modules) parts.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor of Engineering Electrical/Electronics
• Experience-6 to 8 years in Auto OEM.
