Job summary

Nordex Group in Chennai is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead a nationwide finance and business support team, driving data quality, SAP excellence, and process discipline.

You will manage a diverse team of finance professionals, conduct performance reviews, and ensure delivery of high-quality services in line with global policies. The role demands strong English and collaboration with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business/finance related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Commercial Management within a large international organization.
• Proven leadership and team-management experience.
• Deep knowledge of SAP and financial processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

Your Tasks

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of a team with key users, and financial specialists, accountants including resource allocation, workload management, and performance monitoring
• Drive and support the improvement of data quality (ensure correct assignment of costs, revenues etc.)
• Implementing and maintaining standardized operating procedures and quality control measures, using KPIs, to control the service level and ensure the delivery of high-quality services
• Generate and analyze further reports regularly
• Support the Service Regions with the local team in line with global policies and in cooperation with GS commercial support (entering service contracts to CRM system, expense entry, creation of provision, IFRS calculations, follow-up of bonds, A/R, R&C etc.)
• Fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to team members

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Economy and Finance Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in leading and managing teams
• Minimum 15 years of work experience in Commercial Management and Support within a bigger international organization
• In-depth knowledge of SAP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Very good English knowledge
