Job summary

All About ADS in Kolkata is seeking a skilled graphic designer to conceptualize and produce high-quality static and print-ready creatives for events, campaigns and client initiatives. You will ensure brand consistency across digital and print media.

Responsibilities

• Design creatives for events of varying scale and ongoing client campaigns across sectors.
• Translate briefs from clients and agency leadership into polished visual concepts within tight turnaround windows.
• Produce multi-format outputs: social media posts, hoardings, banners, standees, brochures, certificates, e-invites, and emails.
• Ensure adherence to branding guidelines, logo usage, color schemes and visual identity.
• Prepare print-ready files (CMYK, bleed/trim/safe area) and coordinate proofing with vendors/press.
• Adapt a single creative into multiple size/format variants for different platforms.
• Use AI-assisted design tools to speed ideation while applying quality control on outputs.
• Maintain an organized asset library and collaborate with writers/editors.
• Revise creatives per feedback and provide on-ground support at events.

Role Summary:

Responsible for conceptualizing and producing high-quality static and print-ready visual creatives (social media posts, hoardings, banners, standees, brochures, certificates, e-invites, and infographics) for major and minor events, campaigns and client initiatives, while maintaining brand and design consistency across digital and print media

Key Responsibilities:

• Design creatives for events of varying scale (launches, summits, cultural programs, award functions) and ongoing client campaigns across sectors
• Translate briefs from clients and agency leadership into polished visual concepts within tight turnaround windows
• Produce multi-format outputs: social media posts, hoardings, banners, standees, backdrops, festoons, brochures, invitation cards, certificates, e-mailers, and other print collaterals
• Ensure strict adherence to each client's branding guidelines, logo usage protocol, prescribed color schemes and visual identity
• Prepare print-ready files (correct resolution, CMYK color mode, bleed/trim/safe area) and coordinate proofing with vendors/press before final print
• Rapidly adapt a single creative into multiple size and format variants for different platforms and physical formats
• Use AI-assisted design tools to speed up ideation, background/asset generation, and layout variations, while applying manual judgment and quality control on every final output
• Maintain an organized, reusable asset library (fonts, logos, client assets, past creatives)
• Collaborate closely with content writers and video editors to keep messaging visually consistent across formats
• Revise creatives per feedback from agency leadership or clients, often at short notice
• Provide occasional on-ground support at event venues (checking standee/banner installation, last-minute print fixes)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, or a related field
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience (agency or brand/media house background preferred)
• A strong portfolio demonstrating range across digital, print, and campaign design

Core Skills & Competencies:

• Strong command of typography, color theory, layout/composition, and print production
• Ability to deliver fast without compromising quality
• High attention to detail: correct spelling of names/designations/titles, accurate use of client logos and brand marks
• Comfortable working from verbal or rough briefs
• Command over Bengali and English must. Hindi is an added advantage
• Mandatory Competency in Software Design Tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, CorelDRAW and others
• Mandatory AI Tool Competency like Google LAB (Flow) and others

Mandatory Conditions of Engagement:

• Must have own fully-equipped work setup (laptop/desktop with adequate specifications, design software and and power backup) sufficient for professional design work delivered remotely or on-site
• Must be available for work beyond scheduled office hours, including weekends and holidays, whenever required, since event-related creative work is frequently time-bound and can arise at short notice
• Must be able to consistently deliver polished, error-free, print/publish-ready output within very constrained timelines, including same-day turnarounds tied to events, launches and time-sensitive announcements
