Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver event-based creative design solutions from concept to execution.
• Create designs for backdrop, props, logos, brochures, danglers and posters.
• Collaborate with production, operations and client servicing teams to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure artwork is printed as visualized.
• Help maintain and backup artwork files in designated formats.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation / Title - Graphic Designer

Reporting To - Head of Creative

Location - Delhi

KEY OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:

Provide design and conceptualizing solutions for events and advertising.

The job requires constant interaction with the Creative Team members along with Copywriters, Production, Client Servicing, etc.

JOB PROFILE

Events

• Work in tandem with other teams like Production, Operations, Client Servicing and Conceptualizers for creating brilliant, out-of-the-box visual concepts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Events

• Deliver creative design solutions on a project basis for events:
  • Invite Design
  • Set Design / Backdrop, Entrance and Theme-Based Props
  • Memento / Trophy
• Work independently from conceptualization to execution with minimum support/mentoring.
• Design the entire event and provide an end-to-end creative solution based on the creative brief.
• Interact with clients to ensure clarity on the client brief, whenever required.
• Ensure that designs are applicable as per production standards.
• Work in tandem with the Production Team for sizes and other execution requirements.
• Take backups of artwork in the designated format and maintain the same.

Advertising

• Should have knowledge of uploading advertisements.
• Deliver creative design solutions on a project basis for advertising:
  • Newspaper Advertisements (Print Media)
  • Outdoor Media (Hoardings, Bus Panels)
  • Brochures / Posters / Danglers / Leaflets
  • E-Mailers
• Ability to conceptualize, conceive and execute copy propositions and render them into advertisements.
• Hands-on experience in designing and visualizing posters, mailers, banners, brochures and other marketing material.
• Design logos and assist in the roll-out of corporate identity plans.
• Develop layouts and make-up pages for company publications.
• Oversee and drive day-to-day design operations.
• Work with the Conceptualizer Team to deliver designs within deadlines.

Vendor Management

• Coordinate with vendors to ensure artwork is printed/executed in the visualized format.
• Manage the execution of advertising and printing artworks, including Digital, Offset and Outdoor Prints.

QUALIFICATION

• Graduate / Post Graduate in Commercial Art.

TARGET INDUSTRIES

• Event & Advertising Industry.
• Preferable background from JJ School of Arts, Rachana Sansad, Raheja School of Arts, or any other renowned school of Art, in that order of priority.

• Should be proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Knowledge of printing and artwork.
• Essential knowledge of:
  • CMYK colour separation and print file preparation.
  • Image restoration, image mixing and image editing.
  • Conversion of black-and-white images to colour.
