Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking an entry-level Field Service Engineer to support after-sales activities for LV, HV, and battery systems. You will travel to client sites or work remotely to diagnose issues using CAN-based tools and other test instruments, communicate root causes, and guide safe operation and maintenance.

The role involves direct customer interaction, collaboration with fleet operators, and reporting with accurate service records.

Job description

ROLE

• Support After Sales / Service team delivering timely on‑site or remote technical support for LV, HV, and battery service lines to minimise vehicle and system downtime.
• Use diagnostic tools, CAN‑based diagnostics, and test instruments across vehicle and battery platforms.
• Interact directly with customers and fleet operators to understand issues, explain root causes and fixes, and ensure a smooth, transparent service experience.
• Diagnose and help resolve issues related to battery packs, powertrain, motors, and charging systems under guidance.
• Support root source analysis of failure data and assist in defining corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist with battery pack rework activities and support battery swap operations and failure investigations.
• Support periodic preventive maintenance schedules and service campaigns, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Maintain accurate service records and prepare technical reports.
• Provide field feedback to engineering/product teams for Design for Service improvements.
• Communicate technical issues and resolution steps clearly to customers and fleet operators, guiding safe operation and maintenance.
• Track issues through to closure, keep stakeholders informed, and escalated critical or unresolved issues to senior engineers/engineering teams with proper documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

• 0–1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
