Job summary

Growth For Impact is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer in Bengaluru to design and deliver comprehensive training for dealer networks and internal teams. You will train technicians on EV architectures, high‑voltage systems, powertrains, batteries, and chargers, along with advanced diagnostics and OEM tooling.

You’ll educate sales and product staff on performance, features, and competitive differentiation while developing localized modules and assessments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • 3–6 years as a Technical Trainer in an Automobile OEM or Tier‑1 supplier.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Structured problem-solving and high quality of work.
  • Intolerance for mediocre work and a resilient attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver exhaustive technical and product training for dealer network and internal teams.
  • Conduct hands‑on training for dealer technicians on EV architecture, HV systems, powertrain, battery, and chargers.
  • Train dealership staff on diagnostics, troubleshooting, and OEM diagnostic tools.
  • Educate teams on HV safety protocols, PPE, and emergency procedures.
  • Deliver product performance and feature training to dealer sales teams and product specialists.
  • Create, update, and localize training modules, manuals, e‑learning content, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with R&D and engineering on upcoming vehicle launches and software updates.
  • Design simulation‑based learning and hands‑on troubleshooting exercises for the training lab.
  • Evaluate dealer technicians and staff based on OEM standards.
  • Monitor training KPIs and recommend targeted interventions.

Job description

ROLE
  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive technical and product training programs for dealership network and internal teams.
  • Conduct hands‑on technical training for dealer technicians on EV architecture, high‑voltage systems, powertrain, battery, and chargers.
  • Train dealership staff on advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and specialized OEM diagnostic tools.
  • Educate teams on rigorous high‑voltage safety protocols, PPE utilization, and emergency response procedures.
  • Deliver product performance, capability, and feature training to dealer sales teams and product specialists.
  • Conduct competitive analysis training to help dealerships differentiate EV products in the commercial market.
  • Create, update, and localize training modules, manuals, e‑learning content, and practical assessment tools.
  • Collaborate with R&D, product planning, and engineering teams to stay ahead of upcoming vehicle launches and software updates.
  • Design simulation‑based learning and hands‑on troubleshooting exercises for the training lab.
  • Evaluate and certify dealer technicians and sales staff based on OEM global standards.
  • Monitor dealer training KPIs, conduct skill‑gap analyses, and recommend targeted training interventions.
  • Provide on‑site or remote technical support to dealerships handling complex, first‑time EV issues.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience as a Technical Trainer within an Automobile OEM or Tier‑1 supplier.
  • Ability to multi‑task and handle a dynamic working environment.
  • Structured problem‑solving skills and high quality of work.
  • Intolerance for mediocre work and a resilient attitude to bounce back after failure.
