Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to provide L2 support for Google Cloud Serverless services and manage cloud operations.

You will implement IaC, optimize performance, ensure security, and collaborate with engineering teams; 24x7 support via rotating shifts.

Preferred background includes 2-6 years on GCP, CI/CD, IAM, Docker; ACE certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• 2 to 6 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Operations, DevOps, or Technical Support environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, and Serverless Architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Experience in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of IAM, Service Accounts, RBAC, and Cloud Security best practices.
• Working knowledge of Docker, containerization, Linux administration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and production support.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve application, deployment, networking, and API-related issues.
• Exposure to cloud storage, cloud networking, and security services within GCP.
• GCP certifications such as ACE or other Google Cloud certifications are preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Responsibilities
