Job summary

Inventiway Solutions, an industrial manufacturing and engineering company, seeks a senior professional to develop Indian manufacturers for international customers and manage end-to-end export operations.

You will identify and qualify suppliers across casting, forging, machining, fabrication, and related processes, while pursuing opportunities with OEMs and global buyers. Expect regular India-wide and international travel.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing, sourcing, supplier development, and/or international business development.
• Strong knowledge of India's manufacturing ecosystem and engineering processes (castings, forgings, CNC/VMC machining, fabrication, precision components).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and translate requirements into supplier actions and commercial deals.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable Indian manufacturers for international customers.
• Visit and assess manufacturers for capabilities, capacity, quality systems, certifications, pricing, and compliance with international standards.
• Build and maintain a network of Indian manufacturers across casting, forging, machining, fabrication and related processes.
• Identify international customers (NA, Europe, Middle East) looking to source Indian-engineered products.
• Manage RFQs: understand drawings, select suppliers, obtain quotes, and submit quotations to customers.
• Oversee end-to-end process from RFQ to sampling, qualification, production, inspection, export, and delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and requirements with Indian suppliers and international customers.

It focuses strongly on supplying components to OEMs and international industrial customers.

The role will primarily involve

• Identifying, evaluating, and developing reliable manufacturers across India who can supply engineering and industrial components to international customers.
• Visiting and assessing manufacturers based on their technical capabilities, machinery, capacity, quality systems, certifications, pricing, and ability to meet international standards.
• Building and maintaining a strong network of Indian manufacturers across castings, forgings, machining, fabrication, precision engineering, and related manufacturing processes.
• Identifying and developing international customers across markets such as North America, Europe, and the Middle East who are looking to source industrial and engineering products from India.
• Building relationships with international OEMs, industrial manufacturers, procurement teams, sourcing managers, and other B2B customers.
• Managing customer RFQs by understanding drawings and technical requirements, identifying the appropriate Indian manufacturer, obtaining competitive pricing, and submitting quotations to customers.
• Managing the complete process from RFQ and supplier selection through sampling, qualification, negotiation, production, quality inspection, export, and final delivery.
• Negotiating pricing, commercial terms, lead times, and other requirements with both Indian manufacturers and international customers.

We are looking for someone with 20+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing, particularly in sourcing, supplier development, engineering exports, and/or international business development.

The person must have strong knowledge of the Indian manufacturing ecosystem and experience with engineering processes such as castings, forgings, CNC/VMC machining, fabrication, precision components, and industrial assemblies.

The ideal candidate should be technically strong enough to understand engineering drawings and manufacturing requirements, while also having the commercial and business-development ability to independently acquire international customers.

• Existing relationships with Indian manufacturers and international industrial customers would be a major advantage.
• The role will involve regular travel within India for supplier development and international travel for customer development.
• Pay: ₹4,000,000.00 - ₹6,000,000.00 per year
