Job summary

ideazmeet, part of Infotrends Industrial Consultancy & Services, is seeking a Sourcing Engineer to identify and develop manufacturing suppliers across India. The role includes RFQ management, cost analysis, and negotiations, with travel to facilities across the country.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of sourcing experience, strong technical reading skills (drawings, BOMs, GD&T), and proficiency in MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience in sourcing, vendor development, manufacturing, or industrial procurement.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining, fabrication, casting, forging, welding, and mechanical assemblies.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, BOMs, and technical specifications.
• Experience in supplier evaluation, RFQ management, negotiations, and quality inspections.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and MS Excel skills.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing locations across India.
