Job summary

Papaya Global is seeking a payroll service support specialist to manage day-to-day payroll operations for multiple geographies via in-country providers. You will ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and provide excellent service from onboarding to offboarding.

You will handle payroll queries from various countries, generate accurate reports, and contribute to process improvements while supporting client onboarding and expansion initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in payroll operations or customer service operations.
• 2+ years of payroll processing in one or more geographies.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Positive, can-do attitude with proactive mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong customer service skills and communication.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day payroll activities across multiple countries via in-country providers.
• Ensure accurate, on-time payroll processing in line with local requirements.
• Deliver a first-class experience to customers and employees from onboarding to offboarding.
• Respond to payroll queries from various countries through in-country partners.
• Prepare payroll data reports for internal and external use.
• Support country expansion by setting up processes with processors in new locations.
• Regularly communicate task/status updates to manager and stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements and propose executable solutions.
• Assist onboarding of clients and share payroll expertise with implementation team.

We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and adaptable payroll service support team member who is skilled at process improvements and data validations for the accurate and efficient processing of payroll.

**You will:**

• Be responsible for handling the day-to-day activities necessary to deliver payroll in several countries through our in-country providers.
• Ensuring consistent and accurate flow of information so that all payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in accordance with local country requirements.
• Providing a first-class experience to customers and employees from onboarding to offboarding.
• Responsibility for handling employee & customer queries on payrolls from a number of countries in a timely manner (supported by in-country payroll processing partners).
• Ensuring accurate reporting of payroll data for internal and external use.
• Contributing to country expansion by establishing processes with in-country processors in new locations.
• Communicate regularly with manager, team members, and stakeholders regarding tasks or internal projects status and opportunities to harmonize payroll processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes - including administration - Propose solutions to improve these programs and execute on proposals
• Support the implementation team in the onboarding of clients and provide expert knowledge to enable them to respond to client questions.

• 3+ years of work experience in payroll operations or customer service operations
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience in one or more geographies
