Job summary

ZALARIS Deutschland AG in Chennai invites an experienced Global Payroll Specialist to support the delivery of accurate payroll services across multiple countries. You will manage employee data, payroll inputs, queries, and reporting, ensuring compliance with local requirements.

The ideal candidate has 6–8 years in payroll operations, hands-on SAP Payroll and SAP SuccessFactors experience, excellent English, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of progressive experience in payroll operations.
• Experience with multiple EMEA/EU countries is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Registration and maintenance of employee data (e.g., new hires, changes, terminations, tax information, pension control)
• Maintenance of organizational structure
• Absence /attendance registration and handling
• Registration of payroll data input (e.g., deductions, benefits, bonuses, new salaries)
• Preparation and delivery of reports
• Handling service requests through C4C system and inquiries by phone
• Producing the contracts and other employment related documentation Maintaining physical and / or electronical archive
• To solve problems and be a case manager for complex multi functional issues.
• Train and guide other team members.
• Performing any additional tasks, linked to the primary scope of the position.

The role will involve managing employee and payroll data, processing payroll inputs, handling payroll-related queries and cases, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local payroll requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Registration and maintenance of employee data (e.g., new hires, changes, terminations, tax information, pension control)
• Maintenance of organizational structure

Your Experience and Skills

• 6-8years of progressive experience in payroll operations, with significant exposure to multiple EMEA and EU countries.
• Hands-on, in-depth experience with SAP Payroll (SAP HCM) and SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central / Employee Central Payroll).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; fluent in English (additional EU languages an advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools.
