Job summary

Trajectron Sports in India seeks a Mechanical Engineer to lead production, quality and manufacturing operations. You will facilitate the manufacturing of high precision parts and analyse designs to meet exacting standards.

You will perform diagnostic tests on assembled products, calibrate and adjust using precision tools, and develop robust assembly/test procedures to ensure quality. Will maintain SOPs, logs, and assist with customer interactions as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyse and visualise mechanical systems and design.
• Good knowledge of engineering drawing (2D and 3D).
• Critical thinking to rectify errors in mechanical products manufactured in house.
• Experience in creating technical documents for customers and internal use.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with mechanical industry processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex assembly of products according to specifications.
• Carry out high-precision calibration and adjustments using testing instruments.
• Develop assembly and test procedures to ensure product quality.
• Monitor equipment operation and report faults or substandard conditions.
• Maintain log books according to SOPs.
• Assemble equipment according to engineering drawings.
• Clean parts as per established procedures.
• Conduct product and performance testing and record results.
• Perform final checks and adjust for defects to ensure quality.
• Interact with customers to meet expectations and specifications when required.
• Provide manual guides for product use and troubleshooting procedures.

Primary Role

Facilitate and carry out manufacturing of high precision parts and components as per the product specifications and customers demand.

Analyse designs to match the exacting standards needed for creating and producing high quality customised / regular end-products.

Perform diagnostic tests on the assembled product to ensure high accuracy and precise results.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to the specifications.
• carry out high precision calibration and adjustments using the testing instruments.
• Develop assembly and test procedures to promote production of quality products.
• Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the supervisor.
• Ensure all log books are maintained according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings.
• Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures.
• Conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results.
• Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products.
• carry out installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacements, refitting, and adjustments in the products.
• Order and stock materials and supplies to avoid materials shortages.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any breakdowns and failures.
• If required, interact directly with customers to meet customer expectations and product specifications.
• Ensure provision of manual instructional guides for product use and troubleshooting procedures
