Job summary

PMECH is seeking a fresh mechanical engineer with 0-1 year of experience to support design calculations for static equipment such as pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers. The role involves learning Indian and international codes like ASME and API, reviewing design templates, and performing basic manual and software calculations using PV Elite and AutoCAD.

You will maintain daily activity records and report progress to the concerned authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mechanical engineering.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Immediate joining preferred.
• Knowledge of design codes, standards, and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Study design calculations for static equipment (pressure vessels, tanks, columns, heat exchangers).
• Review Indian and international codes such as ASME and API.
• Refer to design templates and perform basic manual and software calculations (PV Elite).
• Maintain daily activity records and report progress as required.

Qualifications: - B.E. / B. Tech. - Mechanical

Experience - 0-1 Year

Immediate Joinee Preferred

Responsibilities:-

• Study the Design Calculation for various types of Static Equipment’s like Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Columns and Heat Exchangers etc. Understand various materials.
• Study the Indian as well as International Standards and codes used for designing various equipment’s like ASME, API code etc.
• Refer design templates and make basic manual calculations using spread sheet as well as software like PV Elite.\Study Auto cad Drawings.
• Maintaining proper record of daily activities in the database as well as reporting of daily progress in work to the concerned authority as per the required format.

Technical Skills Required

• Mechanical basics & mathematical calculation skill

• Compliance with Design Code, Project specification and Standards
• Allotted work starts and finishes on time
