Job summary

Maestro Headhunters in Mumbai invites a seasoned Static Equipment Engineer to lead mechanical design reviews and vendor coordination for pressure vessels, reactors, and heat exchangers.

You will apply ASME Section VIII, API 650, and TEMA standards, perform calculations (wind/seismic), develop GA, and liaise with EPC teams and workshops. 8–10 years in static equipment with vessel fabrication background required.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in Static Equipment.
• Min. 3 years background from static equipment fabrication company.
• Vessel manufacturing background is preferred.
• Experience with FEA software is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Time management and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Review of Process Data Sheet.
• Preparation of Mechanical Data Sheet.
• Perform mechanical calculations (including wind seismic) for vessels, reactors, shell & tube heat exchangers, process columns, and storage tanks.
• Develop detailed GA for MDS.
• Coordinate with EPC, piping, process, QA/QC teams.
• Review vendor design packages for compliance and quality.
• Ensure designs adhere to ASME Section VIII, API 650, and TEMA.
• Coordinate with 3rd party eng. contractors and site teams.

For our Mechanical team, we are looking for a Static Equipment Engineer. You will be located at Mumbai in India.

MAIN MISSION

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review of Process Data Sheet
• Preparation of Mechanical Data sheet
• Perform mechanical calculations (Including wind seismic) for vessels, reactors, shell & tube heat exchangers,
• process columns, and storage tanks
• Develop detailed General Arrangement (GA) for the purpose of MDS
• Competency over Material selection, specific requirement
• Shall have good knowledge of column / reactor internals
• Generate Material Requisitions (MR), conduct Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and liaise with vendors to
• evaluate technical offers
• Validate that all designs adhere to international standards like ASME Section VIII, API 650, and TEMA.
• Review and evaluate vendor design packages for compliance and quality
• Apply working knowledge of mechanical design principles for pressure vessels
• Review EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) engineering deliverables and coordinate with
• multidisciplinary teams (piping, process, QA/QC)
• Shall be able to review the FEA results
• Coordination with 3rd party engineering contractors
• Coordination with Workshop and construction Site
• Coordination with client for technical matters
• Participation in 3D model reviews, review of the internal 3D model
• Tracking the change order / MH
