Job summary

Three Across is seeking a General Manager - Global Operations to lead a state-of-the-art engineering manufacturing facility in India. The role demands strategic leadership to scale operations, strengthen the supply chain and foster a high-performance culture.

You will supervise manufacturing, assembly, quality, procurement, maintenance, and EHS, drive lean initiatives, implement ERP and digital dashboards, and coordinate with overseas headquarters to transition capabilities to India.

Qualifications

• 18–22 years of experience in engineering manufacturing, preferably export-oriented.
• Engineering degree from a premier engineering institution.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end factory operations beyond production.
• Exposure to CNC/VMC machining, automation, ERP systems and digital manufacturing.
• Proven ability to establish operational systems and drive process improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end factory operations across manufacturing, assembly, quality, supply chain, procurement, maintenance, EHS and facilities.
• Drive safety, quality, cost and delivery with robust systems and KPIs.

We are looking for an accomplished manufacturing leader to spearhead end-to-end operations at a state-of-the-art engineering manufacturing facility in India.

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a seasoned professional who can build, scale and transform manufacturing operations while driving operational excellence, strengthening the supply chain and developing a high-performance organisational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end factory operations covering manufacturing, assembly, quality, supply chain, procurement, maintenance, EHS and facilities.
• Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, cost and delivery through robust systems, SOPs and performance metrics.
• Build, mentor and lead a strong cross-functional leadership team, fostering accountability and a performance-driven shop-floor culture.
• Develop a reliable supplier ecosystem, with a particular focus on identifying and nurturing suppliers across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
• Lead strategic manufacturing transformation initiatives, including the transition of manufacturing capabilities from overseas facilities to India.
• Leverage ERP platforms, digital dashboards, automation and shop-floor technology to enhance productivity and operational visibility.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and ensure effective coordination between Indian manufacturing operations and overseas headquarters.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 18-22 years of experience in engineering manufacturing, preferably in export-oriented manufacturing environments.
• Engineering degree from a reputed, premier engineering institution.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end factory operations, extending beyond production and manufacturing.
• Exposure to CNC/ VMC machining, automation, ERP systems and digital manufacturing practices.
• Demonstrated ability to establish operational systems, drive process improvements and build high-performing teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving capabilities.

Additional Advantage:

• Experience in transitioning manufacturing operations from overseas locations to India.
• Hands-on exposure to greenfield or brownfield manufacturing projects.
• Proven experience in developing supplier networks across emerging industrial hubs, particularly Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
