Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end management, administration, and optimization of the University’s ERP ecosystem.
  • Develop and implement ERP strategies aligned with institutional goals and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure system availability, scalability, security, and performance across ERP modules.
  • Oversee ERP upgrades, enhancements, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for process automation and optimization.
  • Drive digital transformation by streamlining academic and administrative operations.
  • Standardize business processes through effective ERP utilization.
  • Collaborate with Academic, Finance, HR, Admissions, Examination, and other departments to understand requirements.
  • Translate operational requirements into scalable ERP solutions.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to drive continuous process improvement.
  • Lead ERP implementation, migration, enhancement, and integration projects.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure successful project delivery within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and accuracy across ERP modules.
  • Develop MIS reports, dashboards, and analytical insights for management decision-making.
  • Support institutional reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Manage ERP vendors and implementation partners.
  • Monitor vendor performance, SLAs, AMC contracts, and project deliverables.
  • Evaluate emerging ERP technologies and third-party integrations.
  • Ensure ERP systems comply with University policies, statutory requirements, and data security standards.
  • Implement role-based access controls, audit mechanisms, and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct periodic system audits and user access reviews.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop ERP functional and technical teams.
  • Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and build team capabilities.
  • Drive user training, change management, and ERP adoption.

Job Summary

Chandigarh University is looking for an experienced General Manager - ERP to lead the strategic planning, implementation, enhancement, and governance of the University's ERP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
ERP Strategy & Governance

Experience
