Job summary

Galgotias University seeks a Director – ERP to lead the ERP strategy, implementation, and ongoing operations across academic, administrative, finance, HR, admissions, and student lifecycle processes. The role drives digital transformation and operational excellence through a robust ERP ecosystem.

The Director will manage SIS, HRMS, Finance, LMS, and other integrations, collaborate with senior leaders, and ensure data security, compliance, and high system availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA/M.Tech/MCA preferred.
• ERP-related certifications will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the University's ERP strategy aligned with institutional objectives.
• Lead ERP implementation, upgrades, customization, integration, and optimization projects.
• Manage the complete ERP ecosystem including SIS, HRMS, Finance, Admissions, Examination, Hostel, Library, and LMS integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure seamless ERP integration with Moodle LMS, CRM, payment gateways, biometric systems, and third-party apps.
• Oversee ERP vendors, implementation partners, consultants, and support teams for timely delivery.
• Define ERP governance policies, user roles, access controls, and data security standards.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and service quality with high availability.
• Drive automation to reduce manual processes across departments.
• Lead data migration, validation, reporting, and dashboard development for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and policies.
• Develop disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity plans for ERP operations.
• Manage ERP budgets, licensing, and technology investments.
• Lead user training, documentation, change management, and adoption initiatives.
• Build and mentor a high-performing ERP support and technical team.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 12–18 years of experience in ERP implementation, management, or digital transformation.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing enterprise-scale ERP projects.
• Experience in higher education ERP implementation is highly preferred.
• Proven experience with ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Ellucian, PeopleSoft, or other higher education ERP systems.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of higher education ERP modules.
• Expertise in Moodle LMS administration and integration.
• Knowledge of APIs, middleware, and system integrations.
• SQL databases, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
• Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or PMP).
