Job description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead the overall operations of our hospitality business in Goa. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing hotel/service apartment operations, driving business growth, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.

Candidates who are currently based in Goa or willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall operations of the hotel/service apartments.
• Develop and implement business strategies to improve occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage department heads across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage (if applicable), Finance, Sales, and HR.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest hospitality standards.
• Monitor budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, dealers, corporate clients, travel partners, and government authorities.
• Identify business development opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
• Oversee recruitment, employee development, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and hospitality regulations.
• Analyze operational reports and implement process improvements.
• Leverage AI tools and digital technologies to enhance operational efficiency, reporting, customer service, and business decision-making.
• Report directly to the ownership/management on business performance and strategic initiatives.

Required Skills

• 815 years of experience in hotel, Airlines, resort, hospitality, or serviced apartment management, including leadership experience.
• Proven expertise in hotel operations, revenue management, budgeting, and business development.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and people management skills.
• Experience in vendor/dealer management and contract negotiations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or similar) and modern business software.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead multiple teams effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate

• Currently residing in Goa or willing to relocate.
• Experience managing luxury hotels, resorts, boutique properties, or premium serviced apartments.
• Strong business acumen with a guest-first mindset.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: 18-25 LPA (depending on experience and expertise).
